Week of January 29 - Welcome! Let's never forget how valuable we are to God. Jesus told a parable about a woman who lost one of her ten silver coins. She lit a candle, sweeps the entire house, and seeks diligently until she found it. After finding it, she called her friends and neighbors, saying, "Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I had lost. Likewise, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents." This woman knew the value of her silver coin and that motivated her to seek and find it. Scripture says, "For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost." (Luke 19:10) God values each of us, and we are worth much more than silver. Live and be a blessing!
