Jesus’ Resurrection Day came with a “Well done, Thou Good and Faithful Servant! Enter in
to the JOY of the LORD.” (See Hebrews 12:2.)

May our “Resurrection Day” receive the “like” commendation…

What greater joy could there be?

“I am He that liveth, and was dead;
and behold, I AM alive for evermore, Amen!”
(Revelation 1:18)

It has been a beautiful thing to see the orderly, self-controlled response of Japanese people in the midst of this crisis as they’ve reached out to help and take care of each other. We’ve all seen so many others use chaos to indulge in looting and additional destructive violence, it is commendable to see the grace under extreme pressure exhibited by these precious people.

Prayer requests for Japan and its people center around comfort for those who are grieving, the relief efforts, food and water shortages, and the many thousands of people at risk; from continued earthquake activity, in the ongoing nuclear situation, and in the long-term consequences of this disaster. Let us pray that many will turn their hearts toward the Lord and that a spirit of repentance will draw them to Calvary’s cleansing flow and a full relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.” (Psalm 121:1-2)
