Week of May 27 - Welcome! The church at times is seen as a family, but the Bible states an even closer relationship - the body. Those who are in Christ are part of the same body. Paul encouraged the church in Ephesus to be mindful of each other. "I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith you are called, with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one anothe in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God, and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all." (Ephesians 4:1-6) The love of Jesus Christ will keep us all together. Live and be a blessing!
  • Today’s Verse…

Acts2:1-4 - "And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance."

Home Bible Study

One of the Studies we offer... This is just one of the Home Bible Studies we offer…

Contact: Don Warfield

If there is anything I have learned after living over sixty-five years on this earth, it is that we humans are very judgmental. Yes, even as Christians! But here’s something to think about. My word can’t judge you, your word can’t judge me, but His Word will judge both of us. “For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So every one of us shall give account of himself to God.” (Romans 14:11-12) “For we must all appear before the hudgment seat of Christ; that every one may recieve the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.” (II Corinthians 5:10) “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:” (Hebrews 9:27)

So, with that fact set in concrete, shouldn’t we judge ourself now?

“How?” you ask.

By reading and studying His Word and aligning our life to His Word. “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” (II Timothy 2:15) You can trust His Word – it was inspired by God when it was written. “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” (II Timothy 3:15)

I look forward to hearing from you, questions or comments…

In His service,

Don Warfield

    • Have you found your In My Father’s House Bible study yet Bro. Mark?
I should point out that study should be taught to those who have obeyed the gospel plan commanded by Peter

  2. To whom it may concern; I am trying to find and place an order for, “In my Father’s House Bible Study.” I searched through the Pentecostal Publishing House and they do not carry it. Please let me know how I may order it. Thanks Tommy Dillard

    • Sorry this took so long, but I took the time today to check on your request. I did not find “In My Father’s House” either. However, PPH does still carries the study by Bro. Jack Yonts called, “My Father’s House”. Bro. Grisham used to recommend this study series to our Home Bible Study leaders when their new converts wanted more in-depth study following their conversion. “My Father’s House” comes in levels I and II, (charts, power point, and teacher and student manuals). It looks like some material is either out of print or in limited supply; however, they do carry at least some material from each level. I trust this is helpful.
