Week of May 27 - Welcome! The church at times is seen as a family, but the Bible states an even closer relationship - the body. Those who are in Christ are part of the same body. Paul encouraged the church in Ephesus to be mindful of each other. "I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith you are called, with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one anothe in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God, and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all." (Ephesians 4:1-6) The love of Jesus Christ will keep us all together. Live and be a blessing!
  • Today’s Verse…

Acts2:1-4 - "And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance."

Bro. Chuck’s Baptism

What a joy and a thrill it is to present this “YouTube” clip of the baptism of Bro. Chuck Zucal – with Pastor Ken Foreman doing the baptizing…

Update Rejoice with us and Praise the Lord Jesus!

As he was baptized, Bro. Chuck spoke faith…  he said he knew he would receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost!

Our “God is not slack concerning His promise…”  Thus, when it comes to the promises of God, Biblical Faith utters what will be in advance of the fulfillment.

Bro. Chuck received the precious gift of the Holy Ghost speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gave utterance (just like they did in Acts, Chapter 2!) on Monday evening (October 12th) at his home. We join with Bro. Chuck, his wife and daughter, the angels in heaven, and the Body of Christ in rejoicing and celebrating the goodness, mercy and faithfulness of our God!

Church Picnic/BBQ

Sunday, September 6th, we enjoyed an all-church Picnic/BBQ on the grounds right after the morning service. Plenty of delicious food, fellowship and fun were at the heart of the day’s festivities. The weather was perfect, faces were smiling and friendly… You’ll find a warm welcome here at New Life! It truly is “the end of your search for a friendly church!”

VBS 2009 – “Christ Olympics”

VBS 2009 was a resounding success!

From August 20 through August 23rd, some thirty children came to New Life to enjoy and learn and have a great time in the process. Every one who particpated contributed something valuable and the Lord Jesus was present in each day’s activities. Enjoy a couple of pictures taken during this year’s ”Christ Olympics” . . .
