Week of January 29 - Welcome! Let's never forget how valuable we are to God. Jesus told a parable about a woman who lost one of her ten silver coins. She lit a candle, sweeps the entire house, and seeks diligently until she found it. After finding it, she called her friends and neighbors, saying, "Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I had lost. Likewise, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents." This woman knew the value of her silver coin and that motivated her to seek and find it. Scripture says, "For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost." (Luke 19:10) God values each of us, and we are worth much more than silver. Live and be a blessing!
Today’s Verse…
Acts 4:12 - "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."
Here are some of the good times shared by the New Life Apostolic Church family over the years… These photos are shared from the Friedman & Warfield family collections and various individuals. Take time to browse, reminisce and enjoy the memories!
Yes, I remember alot of these as well. I look back and think of all the young folk that were there when I was there and what a difference some 16 years later. I do thank God for every rememberance of you…
This is the first time I’ve been to your website and saw pictures from long ago. I was raised under Bro. Paul Leaman. It was a delight to see my grandma, Marie Strandbergh, my Aunt Darlene Strandbergh and my niece, Tammy McDonald along with many other beloved saints from long ago. I have not been back to visit since my mother, Rose Marie Sauer (Strandbergh/Williams) passed away in August 2001. There have been many changes in your church since then and I probably would know almost no one there but it still puts a longing in my heart to come home for a visit. Thank you for those beautiful pictures of long ago.
Well Mom, At least I am not prominent in most of these. The one where I am would not have been my choice… still, thanks for the memories.
Ah, the memories……thanks.
