It’s His Bill

This is a great day to be a Saint of God. We see things happening that are sign posts of his soon second coming and the Holy Spirit with blessings that are being poured out upon all people. It’s time to get excited about what the Lord is doing and to allow him to use us in his work. Our prayer should always be for him to use us, according to his will.

I remember a time when I was reluctant to pray for  the Lord’s will to be done in my life for several reasons; first I was afraid that I would not have control of my life, second I did not know what the Lord might do, and third I speculated that it might cost me more than I was willing to pay or could even afford. After coming to know him better, I have realized that that fear was not of God but of His power, His love, and my sound mind. Second, God knows what’s best for all of us. Yes, even me! Third, if it’s his will then it’s his bill and he will make sure that all is taken care of.

Jesus said in Matthew 6: 9-13 pray this way: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Live and be a blessing!
