As I meet people it amazes me how unique each of us are. We have differences in our speech, personality and physical appearances. Each of us have our own way of interacting with the world around us and we handle circumstances in different ways. There are no two people exactly alike in every way, even identical twins.
Church is a place where different people, from different walks of life, come together to look to one Savior, Jesus Christ, and to worship Him. He died for all of us that we might be set free from our sins. When we come to Christ, we are not required to stop being different but, only to come on one accord in our faith and doctrine.
Revelation 7:9 (NIV) says, after this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.
It is great to be different and even greater to be in Christ.
Live and be a blessing!
