I Shall Recover All

Believe it or not, Christians do experience trials in their lives. In 1 Samuel 30, David experienced a day of great trials. His enemies had gotten an advantage, his city was burnt down, his family kidnapped, his cattle taken, and his own soldiers were talking of stoning him. What did David do?

He changed his clothes, David called for the Ephod. The Ephod, a priestly breast plate adorned with precious stones reminded David who he was in God. Now David was able to pray and get directions from God to pursue and to recover all. David did what God told him and he did pursue and he did recover all.

Isaiah 61:3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.

Live and be a blessing!
