On the Day of Pentecost as the Holy Ghost was outpoured for the very first time, there were people gathered in Jerusalem from “every nation under heaven.” Enabled by the power of the Holy Ghost, these men heard the Word in their own languages. In so doing, the Lord took direct control assuring that each one would be able to understand that what was happening that day was God’s handiwork. They were eyewitnesses to a sovereign act of God – a new covenant, a new beginning, a door opening into a whole new life! (Acts 2:1-13)
